I was not able to replicate this issue - on my machine the image is refreshed after hitting back button.

I found that the issue is reproducible with Safari 7.0 (9537.71) but not FF 24.0
Maybe this is a bug in Safari, some kind of too much optimizing of the image cache.
We shouldn't waste our time at the moment as this is a quite new browser version without any patches since first release.

I will check again after a newer version of Safari is available.

Reopened, has been closed by one of my commits. I wrote a wrong commit message.

Atrol,

Can you just clarify - do you believe this is just a 'safari' issue?

I now own a macbook air, so do I need to use that to reproduce this? or are you running safari on windows?

I tested on Mac OS X Mavericks.
Firefox works fine whereas I still get the issue using latest Safari 7.0.4 (9537.76.4)
